Varlion Lw Summum Prisma W 2022
LW (Lethal Weapon) is a padel racket for professional level players with a round shape, whose main feature is control.
This model has the Prisma frame which reduces the contact point of the frame against walls and surfaces by 90%, as well as 10% air resistance. All this translates into better racket maneuverability and greater acceleration capacity on shots.
Reinforced at its most fragile point (the head) with an adhesive protector that adapts perfectly to its shape, the Prisma protector. This not only covers the frame, but also its union with the plane of the blade.
When it comes to applying effects to strokes, it features a rough texture on the plane called Slice, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that make the ball surface stick more closely.
Furthermore, to solve the sudden changes that the temperature exerts on the blade materials, this model has been made with two types of rubber: a softer one, called "W", recommended for use at low temperatures or up to 25ºC; and another harder, called "S", recommended for use in temperatures above 25ºC.
For this reason, it is recommended to carry both blades in the racket bag so that the player uses one model or another, depending on the ambient temperature.
As the name suggests, LW Summum Prisma includes Summum technology in its construction, which is based on the sum of several factors:
- A longer grip than usual to provide the player with a more comfortable and professional grip, and also to make it easier for those with both hands to hit their backs.
- A striking surface longer than 1 cm.
- A gradual perforation pattern with a greater number of holes (76 in total), to improve and expand the sweet spot of the racquet.
- And Wings Diffuser technology in the heart, with an aerodynamically improved diffuser, which offers greater handling and precision.
Finally, the Handlesafety technology, a new safety system for the handle, should be noted. Normally all blades have a centered exit hole for positioning the rope, which is fixed to the handle structure by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this system, the rope goes through the two walls of the handle and exits on both sides of the ferrule, thus providing 100% safety and comfort in the handle.
