In the adapted and specialized version of our CloudTec® technology, we left nothing to chance. Using finite element analysis (FEA), we simulated how each component of the prototype reacts to running. This resulted in a midsole that guarantees a perfect transition from heel to toe. It is called CloudTec Phase™ and it introduces a new concept in cushioning.
Why “Phase”?
The CloudTec Phase™ Cloud elements are designed with virtual simulation so that, as you land, they compress “in phases,” that is, one after the other. The result? An enhanced, in fact supreme, cushioning and smoother heel-to-toe transitions than ever before.
Less plastic, less water
When it comes to sustainability, we don’t follow trends, we make them. The Cloudsurfer is solution-dyed, reducing water consumption by 90% compared to traditional dyeing techniques. We’ve also eliminated plastic trim and increased the shoe’s total recycled content to 30%.
