Some of you will remember the Samas snow jacket bought in the 70s, still there in the closet, in good condition, but perhaps a little old to be dusted off and descending from a peak at -20 degrees.
Probably that jacket was sold there to you by a tall, thin guy with a thick mustache in a cellar full of stuff in a remote town in Benevento. Also there you will have bought the first shoes to go for a run or play volleyball on concrete fields in who knows which fire station.

Soon that small shop became the provincial reference point for sports articles. Marco, the young boy who graduated from Isef a few years earlier, known affectionately by many as o 'Professor, decided to grow up and set off on the Delta Sport adventure, with the first store in Castelvenere, clearly visible from Benevento-Caianello.
The company grew quickly with the opening of stores in Benevento in the railway area, in Pescara and towards Naples.
In 2001 Delta Sport was sold to an external purchasing group and after a short break lasting two years, in 2003 Net srl was born under the Sportnet brand in 2006.
Sportnet is configured as a company more geared to the world of the technician than Delta Sport, following the new technological paradigms that characterize the evolution of products in the fields of Running, Tennis, Skiing, Snowboarding, Soccer, Fitness, Outdoor, Boxing ..
The philosophy is to train the technicians present in the store to have a team of experts who can advise the customer in the more technical aspects of the product in each sport covered, without ever losing contact with the customer, always offering the highest quality at the price. lower.
Today Sportnet has 9 stores in Benevento, Sant'Agnello, Telese Terme, Pagani, Ischia, San Salvo, Castel Di Sangro and Sambuceto.
The chain continues to grow and evolve, but the values present in that little shop in via Procusi have not changed. The philosophy that has always distinguished the company in its first period still survives and revolves around three strong points:
