Importance of padel shoes and clothing
The shovel is the fundamental tool in the game but it is not the only one that needs careful choice. Due to the construction of the upper, midsole and sole, padel shoes are also different in some aspects from tennis shoes or indoor shoes. They must ensure great grip on textured surfaces (new mats) or with sand (old mats). The manufacturing companies exploit innovative technologies in the tires and in the cuts in the soles precisely to guarantee greater grip (just think of Michelin or Continental tires inserted on the soles). The midsole must be cushioned but not too soft and the upper breathable and ductile, so that it can transform with every movement of the foot without creating discomfort . Clothing, especially when playing in the sun, must be breathable and made of technical fabric, possibly with UV protection. Good sportswear allows the skin to breathe and retains only part of our sweat. Precisely that part serves to thermo-regulate the body temperature.
Essential accessories and ball choice
Although you are unlikely to need 3-4 shovels when you go to play, it will certainly be important to find a bag that can contain everything you need.
