Hiking has a new look: the style of Stinger GTX. Designed for medium altitude hiking and fast trekking , Stinger GTX is a lightweight, flexible and versatile shoe, with an athletic and contemporary design.
The upper , light yet tough, is made of mesh with seamless polyurethane applications: breathability and durability with a unique style.
The lining is in Gore-Tex Extended Comfort , the famous high-performance membrane with multiple properties. Breathable and waterproof in perfect balance, it keeps the feet dry and protected , thanks to a system designed to provide maximum climate comfort.
The membrane is specific for moderate or warm weather conditions and for intense physical activities, in fact it is without the traditional insulating layer to guarantee minimum thermal retention.
Summer showers find an impenetrable barrier: with Stinger GTX the foot stays dry for a long time and the leather can breathe easily.
Stinger GTX is designed to adapt to your needs : once you try it, it will be difficult to do without the Smart Lacing System, the quick lacing system with integrated lace lock and external hook. This system allows for an immediate fit and quick and easy adjustment even during activity, and also maintains the personalized lacing even once the shoe is removed.
The fit is of superior comfort thanks to specific features: the exclusive Ankle Lock System is a system that allows for a solid and precise closure of the ankle and at the same time facilitates its natural movement. The resulting sensation is of a perfect symbiosis between the foot and the shoe. The soft padding on the malleolus area accentuates comfort and reinforces the structure without weighing it down.
The lacing and tongue are asymmetrical to respect the natural shape of the foot and wrap it as best as possible, with a view to ideally fitting the shoe almost like a glove.
The tread features the exclusive Vibram® Multiverse sole, specifically designed for mixed terrain even with heavy loads: the cushioning effect of the midsole absorbs shock and protects the joints. The lugs are also functional for approaching thanks to the maximum grip on the heel and the full area at the toe to increase safety when climbing. The rubber protection on the toe further protects the foot on uneven terrain.
